Christmas is a difficult time for many of the families we serve. In order to provide joy to the kids who attend Metro Kids every week, we give each child a Christmas stocking filled with toys, candy, basic hygiene products, socks, and gloves. For some of these kids, the stocking we provide them is the only gift they will receive for Christmas. The Christmas Metro Kids is the highest attended program we have every year.

Through a partnership with Toys For Tots, our Christmas Store distributes gifts to over 3,000 children each year. Each family receives an appointment time, during which a volunteer walks each parent through the store, where they are able to hand pick toys for their kids. When the parents leave the store, they have wrapped gifts, stocking stuffers, and other goodies for each child in their family.

Christmas is a great opportunity to provide some joy to the kids who live in the neighborhoods we serve through Metro Kids every week.
